Not Sure if You Are at Risk for Mold Toxicity

According to Dr. Neil Nathan:

There are millions of people suffering from mold toxicity that don’t know it because it’s going majorly undiagnosed.

Check out the this article for more information on how to determine if you may be at risk.

CIRS Protocol

For our clients who have been diagnosed with CIRS we follow a strict protocol to ensure the results of our inspection and testing give you accurate information regarding the health and condition of your property.

Our CIRS Inspection Protocol

  • A detailed physical inspection of the property to determine areas of concern
  • Specialized mold testing to help isolate issues and determine overall contamination
  • Testing may include qPCR testing (ERMI, HERTSMI) as well as traditional sampling (Cavity Sampling, Air Sampling, Surface Sampling, and Dust Sampling)
  • All samples are analyzed by our accredited laboratory partners MycoMetrics, EmLab P&K, and EMSL Analytical
  • A detailed inspection report including the findings of the inspection, testing, and recommended remediation steps
  • Consultation with a Project Manager to discuss the findings and recommendations
  • Ongoing consultation with a Project Manager throughout the remediation process
  • A detailed post remediation clearance inspection and testing to ensure that the environment has been returned to normal conditions
  • Intermittent follow up testing and/or inspections to determine the general health and condition of the property

Is Performing My Own HERTSMI Test Effective?

Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) is becoming more widely recognized in the medical world as a legitimate cause of illness, which means more patients are being properly diagnosed with CIRS and effective treatment measures can be implemented upon diagnosis.

Some patients choose to perform a self-test (usually a HERTSMI test) of the infected property to try and determine what’s going on. While the test can be useful in identifying that there is a problem in the property, it does not pin point where exactly the problem is or what needs to be done to properly address the issue.

Where did the mold exposure occur (most often in their own home), and what can be done to limit the patient's exposure to these molds?

By trusting experienced professionals like Mold Inspection Sciences to collect your samples, you can be confident that all samples are collected properly and will be incorporated into your recommendations report if findings deem necessary.

Our Professional Inspection Approach

With more than 17-years of mold inspection and testing experience we have worked to develop investigation procedures that isolate the problem areas beyond simply identifying that there is a mold problem. We can then direct the remediation efforts by providing a specialized remediation protocol and, and once complete, conducting post-remediation testing to verify the home has returned to a healthy condition.
