The Mold Inspection Sciences team is deeply experienced in mold inspection and mold testing services. Our staff of office professionals, project managers, executive management, and field inspectors stand ready to provide you outstanding service.
As Operations Manager for Mold Inspection Sciences, Brandon is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations; focusing on client service and field team management. Brandon’s specialty is working with current clients to help them understand their mold inspection and testing reports. He can make the complicated simple.
Prior to joining the Mold Inspection Sciences team, Brandon worked in the professional mold remediation industry. He specialized in managing large and unique projects that required a close eye and attention to detail.
Brandon spends the majority of his off time chasing around his three young boys and daughter. They enjoy experiencing the outdoors together, whether it be taking the bikes out for a ride to the park, or spending the weekend camping and hiking.
As vice-president of Mold Inspection Sciences, Elisha is responsible for overseeing the financial and billing operations of the company.
Elisha has a BS in Business Administration, with a focus in accounting, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior to joining Mold Inspection Sciences in April 2005, she spent 10 years in the residential mortgage industry working in New York City and Santa Monica, CA.
Elisha enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and riding bikes.
As president of Mold Inspection Sciences (MIS), Michael Bains is responsible for overseeing operations, marketing, and strategic partnerships in order to achieve the company’s mission: to provide affordable, professional mold inspection and testing services to our valued clients.
Michael founded MIS in 2002 with the vision of building a company that could fill the growing need for quality indoor mold services based on industry accepted standards. Michael is a former board member of the IAQA and is board certified by the ACAC.
He received a BS in Business Administration, with a focus in accounting, from the University of Colorado at Boulder and attended the MBA program at the University of Southern California (USC).
Michael enjoys the outdoors. He is an avid cyclist, rock climber, and hiker.
As a professional inspector, Mike is always driving from inspection to inspection…he lives out in the field helping our clients. Mike has deep experience in mold inspection and testing as well as general property and construction inspection. There are no inspection issues too challenging for Mike.
Mike’s other professional experience includes 22+ years in residential and commercial property inspection. Mike has performed over 10,000 individual property inspections. He is a certified, Master Inspector.
Mike graduated with a degree in Engineering from Polytechnic Institue of New York University. He has held the title of President of both CREIA and ASHI since 2011.
Mike enjoys various outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and children.
As project manager of Mold Inspection Sciences, Craig is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations; focusing on client service and field team management. Craig’s specialty is dealing directly with new clients to help them understand our services and find the best solution for their individual needs.
Prior to joining our management team, Craig worked in retail management, home remodeling/contracting, and was the co-owner of a successful property and mold inspection company. Craig has over 15 years of experience in building inspections and water intrusion investigations.
Craig enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children, as well as many outdoor activities including gardening, camping, hiking and mountain biking.
As our office manager, Kayla is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day needs of our managers, inspectors, and clients. She manages dozens of daily tasks to help our company run smoothly; including appointment scheduling, internal reporting, procurement, and client service.
She’s dedicated to her work and loves to interact with clients in need of our unique services.
Kayla loves to spend time with her son. She’s a coffee enthusiast and enjoys visiting a great restaurant. Kayla also likes watching a good movie or reading an interesting or entertaining book.
Gary is a certified and professional mold inspection and moisture intrusion specialist who also performs general home inspections. His unique background enables him to see behind the issue in homes and commercial buildings.
Gary graduated from Cincinnati Technical College in 1991 with an Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management. As part of his college Co-op, he worked for a local home builder where he was involved in every aspect of the home's construction. For the past 19 years he has owned his own construction and remodeling company. During this time he has worked on everything from new homes to remodeling historic properties. There is not much in the way of construction techniques he has not seen or done.
When Gary is not performing mold and home inspections, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughter and two sons.
Steve is a certified and professional mold inspection and moisture intrusion specialist and is a Project Manager at Mold Inspection Sciences.
One of his top goals is ensuring that all of his clients are well informed and comfortable with the mold inspection and testing process. He has prior work experience in professional water mitigation, restoration, and mold remediation involving damaged homes and commercial properties. This specialized background provides Steve a thorough understanding of the entire process — from mold inspection and testing through mold remediation and reconstruction.
Steve likes to spend his free time with his wife and two kids. He also enjoys archery, fishing, backpacking, and wildlife photography.
Benjamin Wieser graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Environmental Microbiology. He is determined to solve client mold issues and provide professional services and care. His work and background in microbial research gives him a unique advantage in both mold testing and mold investigations. Benjamin’s main priority is to keep his clients informed and educated about his investigative techniques and to ensure their understanding of the mold inspection and testing process.
In his spare time, Benjamin enjoys hiking, camping, and swimming. Mr. Wieser has a passion for reading. He enjoys gaining new perspectives and knowledge through a variety of books and research.
As a professional inspector for Mold Inspection Sciences, Gerry is responsible for on site mold inspection and testing projects. Gerry’s specialty is understanding the unique needs of each of our clients as well as performing detailed investigations for the client’s property.
Gerry’s other professional experience includes property inspection and indoor odor control. Due to his past experience as a general contractor, Gerry has building knowledge and excellent communication skills with residential and commercial customers, builders and construction teams and has been in the indoor environmental industry since 2001.
In his time off Gerry likes to fix things, especially older cars, but anything mechanical or electrical will do.
He proudly served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge with certificates of achievement.
